Csound 5.14 released Autumn 2011

Casually following the release of 5.14 on the nabble mailing list indicates this seems like a good release, particularly for Windows users. An early tester reported “flawless” operation on Windows 7 (i7 processor).

    This is sort of a catch-all site for me to write about anything that comes time mind involving the use of computers to write music.
    Since around 2007 I've gotten back into algorithmic composition and the use of open source tools. In particular, you'll see posts about Csound and ChucK.
    Pages vs. Posts on this blog: Pages are more along the lines of articles whereas the Blog posts are just random observations. There's no sharp distinction between the two however. Maybe someday, I'll organize it better. But probably not. (Incidentally I really like this Wordpress "Digg 3 Column" theme...)
