Huge free sample libraries courtesty of 1LPC and the community..

I always forget how to get to the site that collects these samples, so I’m going to stick this page up for my own convenience as well as anyone elses…

OLPC FREE sample libraries…

These are sound, sample and music libraries contributed by a lot of people for the “OLPC” (One Laptop Per Child) project, but also licensed for free and full use for anyone who wants them.

    This is sort of a catch-all site for me to write about anything that comes time mind involving the use of computers to write music.
    Since around 2007 I've gotten back into algorithmic composition and the use of open source tools. In particular, you'll see posts about Csound and ChucK.
    Pages vs. Posts on this blog: Pages are more along the lines of articles whereas the Blog posts are just random observations. There's no sharp distinction between the two however. Maybe someday, I'll organize it better. But probably not. (Incidentally I really like this Wordpress "Digg 3 Column" theme...)
